HELOC payments
A HELOC does not automatically get a made-up qualifying payment if the account itself requires no payment.
Fannie
If a HELOC requires a monthly principal-and-interest or interest-only payment, that payment must be included as a recurring obligation. If the HELOC contract requires no payment, Fannie does not require the lender to invent an equivalent monthly payment.
Agency Difference: verify the selected agency's current HELOC/liability requirements and the actual line terms instead of applying a generic percentage to every HELOC balance.
